Roll up Roll up! New Circus jewellery range! I have been working on the idea of a circus range for a while now and finally got my illustrations together! I had these printed onto birch wood and had them laser cut. Here are the original illustrations.
And here are the pieces printed onto wood, I also played around with the layers of each piece to see how this made the overall piece look. I am still working on these and deciding on the layers, the trapeze lady didn't come out how I wanted her to and I am also currently designing matching circus packaging! keep your eyes peeled for their release next month and also some other products other than jewellery in these illustrations.Archive for August 2014
The makings of Lea Lou
Monday, 11 August 2014
One of my best friends 'The makings of Lea Lou' has just launched a beautiful range of jewellery and it is now available on her Etsy store! I’m absolutely in love with the little bear! I think I will have to be making a purchase very soon. Can't wait to see more fab things from this designer.
Head on over to her blog as well to follow her design processes and inspirations. I will hopefully be doing some joint fairs with Lea Lou in the next coming months.Pug cake!

I just had to do a quick blog post about the amazing pug cake! My friend made me for my birthday. I absolutely love pugs and have wanted one for years...... hopefully one day I will get a real one but but I’m pretty content with this for now! My very own pug in a teacup and all edible and delicious.
I couldn't bring myself to eat him so we just cut into the teacup and kept him as mine and Paul’s new pet! Unfortunately on the journey home his ear fell off!!! So we couldn't do anything else but eat him.... possibly the tastiest Pug ever! No pugs were hurt during the eating of this cake.Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

So it happened I joined the 30s club! I had an amazing Birthday week! and was very spoilt by my Husband. For my birthday present I was taken to London to See Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
It is one of the best productions I have ever seen, the set design is astonishing and is perfect for all ages! I was still smiling a week after seeing it! You are unable to take pictures during the production, so I guess you will have to go see it for yourself. But before we went to see the production we visited One Aldwych to enjoy Charlie and the Chocolate Factory inspired Afternoon tea, if you go see the play you need to join it with the afternoon tea it will not disappoint. We sat in amazing high backed chairs that really set the mood, the afternoon tea starts with a range of sandwiches and finger foods..... they were delcious but nothing compared to the sweets that followed! We were presented with what can only be described as a feast! (picture taken from One Aldwych website) 'decadent golden eggs to blueberry brioche and playful flavoured candy floss, every item reflects the wit and wonder of Roald Dahl's classic tale' This experince was amazing I highly recommened going to see the show and booking in for the afternoon tea before hand! Here are few pictures of paul enjoying his rhubarb and custard candy floss! and chocolate caramel milk.
